Coronado is a classic motorcycle jacket with a heavy-duty, offset front zipper that keeps out the winter cold, but opens into lapels in the summer. It is loaded with special pockets to carry your gear safely and it is designed for all-day riding.

Gibson & Barnes makes Coronado from heavy 4 1/4-ounce chrome-tanned cowhide that is practically indestructible. It has been drum-dyed, tumbled until it is supple and comfortable, and then lightly pigmented to preserve the natural beauty of the leather.

Coronado’s tough Flite Satin nylon lining slips on smoothly and will last practically forever. For extra warmth, you can add optional Thinsulate™ Insulation or a warm zip-out vest.

The premium Excella® zippers slide more smoothly than any you have ever zipped. Their teeth are individually cut, rounded, polished, and gold plated to guarantee smooth opening and closing. Auto-locking wire pulls with leather thongs keep the zippers securely closed. Solid-brass snaps click shut smoothly and securely.

The action back expands and moves as you do. Adjustable sides with brass eyelets lace shut with rawhide. Underarm gussets let your arms move freely while ventilation eyelets breathe and keep you cool and comfortable. A double-thick kidney pad firmly supports you and helps you keep your posture. The back and sleeves are just the right length to keep the wind out when you ride. The sleeves zip shut for riding, or can be unzipped for ventilation.

Coronado’s bountiful 12 pockets can carry everything you need. You’ll find two zippered hand pockets, a zippered chest pocket, and a snap-shut watch pocket on the front. You also have a zipper pocket at the right wrist and another on the left bicep. Inside you’ll find a map pocket, zippered wallet pocket, and a snap-shut, leather lined, gun pocket. Then, if you search thoroughly, you’ll find three hidden pockets in the lining. You’ll also get snap-down epaulets, five snap-shut belt loops, and a belt with a solid-brass buckle.
