Designed for the U.S. Navy to reduce the risk of parachute riser entanglement during ejection from an aircraft, the anti-snag spacer  Kit is engineered by Gentex and evaluated by the U.S. Navy. Its special "riser slap" deflection was tested in numerous aircraft and aircrew ejection scenarios.

The U.S. Air Force also uses the anti-snag bayonet receiver kit.
