The U.S. Air Force issued the MA-1 from the 1950s to the 1980s, and it is one of the most famous flight jackets of all time.

Our MA-1/A Jackets are modeled after the world famous MA-1 jacket with heavy nylon knit cuffs, collar, and waistband to keep the chill out. It has flap pockets on the outside, and a zippered pen-and-pencil pocket on the sleeve. The MA-1/A is made with a lining that matches the jacket color and without the inside snap pockets

Mountain Cloth MA-1/A flight jackets are made from tough textured-nylon that naturally resists the weather, including wind and light rain. Choose a polyester twill lining or Thinsulate™ Insulation.
