CRU-60 adapter, replacement three pin, and quick disconnect connectors for the MBU-12/P oxygen mask.

 

CRU-60 Oxygen adapter

 

The Gentex CRU-60/P connector meets the requirements of US Air Force MIL-C-38271A, and is a standard restraint harness connector that connects the aircraft oxygen supply hose from panel mounted oxygen regulators to demand breathing masks.

 

The CRU-60/P is designed to connect to a standard 3-pin bayonet oxygen mask hose connector. The aircraft supply end of the CRU-60/P mates with an MX22058 type connector and incorporates an omni-directional disconnect to assure proper alignment of disconnect forces during an ejection. This quick disconnect fitting also provides a disconnect warning feature. When disconnected from an aircraft oxygen supply hose, the warning valve immediately closes causing a noticeable resistance to inhalation thereby alerting the pilot that disconnection has occurred.

 

The CRU-60/P connector has a bailout oxygen attachment nipple which mates with a bailout bottle supply tube fitting (type MS21964-20).

 

Quick disconnect oxygen mask hose connector:

 

The quick disconnect hose connector has the ability to mate with oxygen mask assembly hoses, including the MBU-5/P, MBU-12/P, MBU-20/P and HA/LP.. The unit disconnects from a MS22058 connector between 12 and 20 lbs, and a pin is provided for attachment of a strain relief cord.

 

Pin oxygen mask hose connector:

 

The Gentex 3-pin bayonet oxygen hose connector meets the requirements of MS27796 and provides a positive locking connection of a pilot’s oxygen mask hose to a CRU-60/p adapter or similar supply connectors. The 3-pin hose connector has the ability to mate with oxygen mask assembly hoses, including the MBU-5/P, MBU-12/P, MBU-20/P and HA/LP.
