Palisade is a touring jacket that protects you from the elements and looks so good you can wear it out to dinner.

Its leather collar rolls beautifully and snaps down for riding. The heavy-duty front zipper, pocket zippers, and sleeve zippers are all hidden so the jacket looks clean and dressy. A generous front zipper facing protects the lining and keeps Palisade looking good when it is unzipped. There’s even a hangar strap inside the collar so you can hang it up neatly.

Gibson & Barnes designed Palisade to move freely when you move and let you reach almost anywhere without binding. Its action back is sewn into both the leather and lining and its underarm gussets are pleated so you can raise your arms as high as you like and reach for almost anything. Stretch out your arms on the handlebars and the sleeves still reach your hands. Zip the sleeves shut to keep out the wind or unzip them for ventilation.

Palisade is cut a little longer in back so it doesn’t “ride up” when you’re riding. The double-thick kidney pad gives you firm, comfortable support and the leather-lined waistband won’t wear out on your belt.

Its epaulets are precisely box-stitched at both the shoulder and sleeve. Two large, zip-shut front pockets and inside, snap-shut map pocket hold lots of gear.

The lining is comfortable twill polyester. Palisade is made from your choice of 2 1/2 ounce cowhide or goatskin. They are top-grain, drum-dyed, lightly pigmented leathers that are rugged, supple, and comfortable.
