Navy and Marine Corps aviators loved the comfortable WEP jackets they were issued in the 1960s. The Navy designed the WEP as a warm liner for cold-water survival suits, but Naval Aviators quickly adopted it as their unofficial flight jacket.

Our WEP closely duplicates the military specification jacket (MIL-S-18342). It is made from the same Mil-spec nylon and has the same cotton twill lining and the original deep-cut knit cuffs. The unique bi-swing back and sleeves give you unparalleled freedom of movement. The elasticized waistband and storm flap behind the solid brass zipper keep out the cold wind and Thinsulate™ Insulation keeps you warm. Two snap-shut cargo pockets on the chest, a pencil slot on the left chest pocket, and a snap-shut sleeve pocket give you lots of room for your gear.
