Gibson & Barnes designed Maricopa with underarm gussets and an action back in both the leather and the lining. They work together to give you virtually unlimited vertical and horizontal reach. The sides of the jacket zip open to accomodate an equipment belt, and also so you can sit comfortably, and the elasticized leather waistband expands to add to the comfort.

The torso is cut to fit above your belt without bunching up. It has a smooth-rolling leather collar and uniform-style leather epaulets. Both the waistband and cuffs are leather lined to ensure years of wear. The solid brass zippers slide smoothly and securely. The leather zipper facing looks good when you wear it unzipped, and it prevents the zipper from snagging the lining. The polyester twill lining slips on smoothly even in humid weather, and is so durable, it will last for years, even if you wear your jacket every day.

You also get two generous snap-shut front pockets and a leather-bound inside wallet pocket to hold your gear.
