A wide yoke-style retention system stabilizes the helmet and affords an optimum fit of earcups and the chin and nape areas. The retention assembly features a hook and pile closure at the nape for individual sizing, and adjustable napestrap, front, rear and centerline straps with triple eyelets for vertical adjustment of the earcups; and a chinstrap. The chinstrap is constructed of tubular nylon Kevlar reinforced webbing; a double D-ring design affords ease of adjustment. A single snap release is provided to connect and disconnect the chinstrap.

The SPH retention assembly includes the retention, chinstrap and chinpad. It does not include the retention hardware kit.
