Lip & Finger Lights

Lip Lights use three LED flood lights and one LED spotlight to provide hands-free, supplemental, short-range lighting. If your boom has a pivot screw attaching the microphone, the MK3IB and MK4IB lip lights have an integrated bracket that will provide a more compact installation.

Mike Lights provide task lighting in the cockpit when you need it to read charts, checklists or other documents. They do not interfere with microphone noise attenuation and are vibration proof. Mike Lights use three LEDs to provide short-range lighting.

The Finger Light is ideally suited for operations requiring minimal light or situations where preserving night vision while navigating, tracking, map reading, or other close work is critical. Powered by two A76 Batteries, the MK1 Finger Light will provide light over several hours of operation.

Lip Lights

Lip Lights use three LED flood lights and one LED spotlight to provide hands-free, supplemental, short-range lighting. Use the lip switch to turn the lights on-and-off or select momentary lighting. Use the mode switch to adjust the brightness and switch between spot and flood lights. MK3 and MK4 lip lights fit both wire and flex booms. If your boom has a pivot screw attaching the microphone, the MK3IB and MK4IB lip lights have an integrated bracket that will provide a more compact installation. MK3 and MK3IV lights use 2 AA batteries in a battery box on your helmet to provides about 25 hours of continuous operation. MK4 and MK4IB lights use 3 A76 batteries incorporated into the lip light so a battery box on the helmet is not required. They provide about 5 hours of continuous operation.

The MK3 fits Gibson & Barnes' flex booms. It also fits wire booms, but if your microphone attaches to the wire boom with a pivot screw, the MK3IB provides a more compact installation.

The MK3 uses 2 AA batteries in a battery box on your helmet to provide about 25 hours of continuous operation.

The MK3IB fits Gibson & Barnes’ wire booms. It is designed for microphone booms that use a pivot screw to attach the microphone and it provides a more compact installation than the MK3.

The MK3IB uses 2 AA batteries in a battery box on your helmet to provides about 25 hours of continuous operation.

The MK Battery Pack holds two AA batteries for MK3 and MK3IB lip lights. It features a contoured mounting surface for installation on flight helmets and includes a nylon carry bag, and hook-and-loop fasteners.

The MK Keychain Battery Carrier holds six A76 batteries for MK4 and MK4IB lip lights. Made from soft rubber, batteries are easily removed. It includes 6 batteries and keychain lanyard.

Mike Lights include a battery holder for two AA batteries, a battery holder bag, two wire ties, one 5/8" X 1/8" adhesive backed hook and loop, a thumb screw, two insulating shields, and mounting instructions. Batteries are not included.
